The only thing is that your turn can end quite abruptly if a player goes down, or fumbles the ball or something, so getting new players to prioritise what model moves first is probably the main hurdle for new players. There are plenty of rules but as long as one person in the room has an understanding, things normally go smoothly. I haven't had the opportunity to play any dungeon bowl yet, but in terms of vanilla blood bowl, I think it is fairly accessible to casual players.
