They’re powerful allies and can be kitted out with new abilities and modifiers. Interestingly, nanos that you defeat can be synchronized to control companion classes allies that fight alongside you. You won’t just have to worry about them though, you’ll also have to deal with rival teams. It’s set in a techno-apocalyptic future where the planet is overrun with hordes of AI nanos.
